VTAD grain containers

Hi All,
 An unusual sighting for me at Carrington were these VTAD top loading grain 
containers on a very lengthy train, made up of two MZ locos and  CFCLA 
CQZY container wagons.

ADPF 2003F ballast plough

Hi All,
 I noticed recently ADPF 2003F dismantled at Varley Engineerings yard at Carrington.
I am not sure if it's being scrapped or rebuilt without the body.

Sturt Reserve Murray Bridge SA

Hi there, I hope you all had a great Christmas! This year I have been lucky enough to have had adventures in Tasmania and Victoria and also travelled to new areas of NSW, where I was able to photograph different locos and bits of rollingstock. As 2015 comes to a close, I wanted to share a few pics from Murray Bridge SA from last year (2014). Hopefully I will be able to keep up to date and share my new adventures on a more regular basis in 2016! Happy New Year to all!!

Special delivery CFCLA CGSY grain hoppers

While out and about yesterday (14/11/15), I happened to spot Carrington taking delivery of about 25 CFCLA CGSY grain hoppers

Steel bucket coal hopper Lambton Primary School

As we were driving past the local primary school one day, I spotted this restored, private owner steel bucket coal hopper. Located on Croudace Street, Lambton. 

One side of the hopper has S.A.M. Coy LD. I'm not sure what that means.

The other side has B.H.P. Co LTD.

The axle box covers with Goninan & CO makers Newcastle on them.
