Newcastle station insult
Hi all
Just to remind the people of Newcastle that they once had a rail line
the powers that be decided to install a $169,000 art piece.
A strange choice of "ART" when you consider that governments have
been removing any trace of rail in Newcastle.

Peter Boormans workshop 1890 ballast plough HO scale
Hi All
After seeing the release of Peter Boormans 1890 ballast plough I just had to get
one even though it does not fit my era. All up a good little kit even though the
brake are really tiny and fiddly but it all worked after a lot of swearing. Just
need to tidy it up and add some paint.
Just some pics showing the size difference with later ploughs

Way and works modelling
Hi All
Even though it has been unbearably hot here I still have
managed to get some modelling done (just).
First up a Ian Lindsay bogie rest van.
Next I saw these wagons on on Rob O'Regan's website

http://www.robx1.net/b551_575/b569_09.jpg

and thought they would make a nice little scene in a siding on a layout.
So I modifided an old SHG,LV and an FO coach I had lying around and this
is what I have come up with so far. Still a few bits and pieces to add and
finish the weathering off

Yarloop workshops fire
Hi all
Its been 3 years since the Yarloop WA fires and 8 months
since I took these pics. I am not sure if anything has happened
to locos the since these pics were taken. Reason for the out of date post
is I lost the pics somewhere on my external hard drive and only
just found them and plenty more railway shots
